IQ Power HL Neutralizing System

The IQ Power HL System is our most innovative static control system designed to optimize static neutralization in hazardous locations where safety is a concern.

A scalable system consisting of a Control Station, Static Neutralizing Bar, Power Supply, Sensor, and a Sensor Interface, the IQ Power HL ensures exceptional ionization performance within Class 1, Div. 1, Group D classified areas.

There are two power supply choices available:

• The HL Power Supply is approved for mounting outside the hazardous area.
• The HLC Power Supply is approved for mounting inside classified hazardous locations. The HLC Power Supply requires a Remote Display Monitor which is used to display all critical indicators such as service status and fault conditions.

The IQ Power HL Sensor allows the power units to operate in Closed Loop Feed Back mode or can be used as a stand-alone monitoring system. It connects to the system through the IQ Power Sensor Interface. The Sensor Interface provides status indicators for up to 8 connected sensors.

IQ Power LP Static Neutralizing Bar

Less than one inch high, the low-profile IQ Power LP bar is offered in over 60 lengths ranging from 4.7″ to 155.9″. Mount directly to a grounded or ungrounded surface with the included flush mounts. Ideal mounting distance of approximately 4” away from the material to be neutralized for webs running at 3,000 fpm.

IQ Power Static Neutralizing Bars

IQ Power Static Neutralizing bars are offered in over 85 different lengths and three types to suit your application based on the web speeds or operating distance. All bars include rugged mounting hardware and come standard with 10ft of power cable. Extension cords are available in 10ft, 30ft, and 50ft lengths for situations that require long power cable.  All bars feature Tungsten emitters for extreme charge conditions.

• Speed Static Bars are engineered to neutralize static charges on webs traveling up to 3,000 fpm and are mounted approximately 4” from the material to be neutralized. Our IQ Easy bar design includes an integrated high voltage supply powered by 24 VDC
• Hybrid Static Bars are designed for varied installations up to 18” away.
• Distance Static Bars are specially engineered to provide powerful ionization for distances up to 30 inches from the web in applications where installing a static bar close to the web is not an option.

IQ Easy Static Neutralizing Bar

The rugged IQ Easy Static Neutralizing Bar has an integrated high voltage power supply and requires only a low voltage input of 24V DC, allowing for a safer, cleaner install. The IQ Easy bar is IP-66 rated for durability and easy cleaning. It is available in Speed and Hybrid configurations.

There are two status LEDs on the bar end: indicated Power (green) or bar Overload (red). Universal mounting brackets are supplied for various mounting options. A 5 meter cable comes standard with either a straight or angled M12 connector.

IQ Easy Air Assist

Simco-Ion’s IQ Easy Air Assist bar is designed to improve discharge performance at a longer range of distances by moving ions to the target with a precise air stream.

The shockless IQ Easy Air Assist static neutralizing bar combines a high voltage power supply and static neutralizer into one integrated design. An air tube runs the length of the bar between high densities of long-life tungsten emitters. Small perforations in the tube release jets of air, picking up ions produced by both polarities.

The IQ Easy Air Assist bar is designed for rugged industrial use with a high pressure, shatter-proof Polycarbonate air tube that separates the compressed air from the high voltage. It requires only a 24VDC input from your machine. Straight and angled air fittings are supplied.
