INPRO Technologies and UV Angel have partnered with over 50 years combined UVC experience to bring life-saving products to market at a reasonable price.

How it works

  • Using patented UV-C treatment technology, UV Angel Air quietly draws air into a sealed UV-C air chamber with a series of fans and filters
  • Air is circulated through the UV-C air chamber where it is treated with an enclosed high-intensity UV-C light to inactivate bacteria, fungus and viruses in the air
  • Treated air is then returned to the room, creating a safer environment
  • UV Angel Air is unobtrusive, works continuously, and has a unique in-ceiling design freeing valuable floor space in occupied areas

Installation and Maintenance

  • Installation is simple.  Maintenance is quick and easy.
  • The unit is designed to replace a standard 2’x4′ drop-ceiling light module.
  • A licensed Electrical Contractor should perform all electrical wiring in accordance with local codes.

Laboratory tests on the UV Angel Clean Air technology showed pathogen elimination rates of up to 99.99%.

When tested in real-world, uncontrolled environments like restaurants, studies proved a dramatic reduction – of 73% or more – of both airborne and surface bacteria after UV Angel Clean Air technology was installed.

UV Angel Air is Engineered to Work
Proven Effectiveness:
  • Developed to reduce the spread of healthcare acquired infections (HAI) in hospital environments. It’s now being put to use everywhere to facilitate our communities with the return to school and business.
  • Reduced bioburden in the air, including in occupied spaces. Third party laboratory tests conclusively support claims that the UV Angel Clean Air system effectively treats bacteria, fungus, and viruses in the air. Results showed elimination rates up to 99.99%.

SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19):

  • UVC effectiveness on viral inactivation of several different coronavirus species has long been known and studied. Contact us to find out more about the testing and predictive modeling that substantiates UV Angel performance.

CARES Act Legislation

On March 11, 2021, the American Rescue Plan Act was signed into law and makes $1.9 trillion available to address the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic to Americans. A portion of that funding is specifically available for K-12 educational facilities to improve ventilation systems and make improvements to reduce the risk of virus transmission.

The Ultraviolet Germicidal Irradiation (UVGI) air treatment systems offered by INPRO Technologies are well suited for educational facilities to make these improvements. This is evidenced by Center for Disease Control (CDC) guidance for businesses and educational institutions looking to improve environments. This guidance includes considering UVGI systems to clean air in occupied spaces.

ASHRAE also provides guidance to consider UVGI systems for facilities operating during the pandemic, specifically in high-occupancy areas such as waiting rooms, prisons, and shelters.

UVGI air treatment systems can mitigate viral transmission in other types of facilities where public health and safety concerns arise: such as business, medical, social care, higher education, and government facilities.  These organizations should consider whether their expenses for public safety measures undertaken in response to COVID-19 are reimbursable under The American Rescue Plan and/or the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act.
